Jimi Hendrix's "Isle of Wight" was released on Polydor Records in 1971. It documents Hendrix's last UK area performance at the famous Isle of Wight festival a mere 3 weeks before his untimely death in September 1970. Along with the rhythm section of bassist Billy Cox and drummer Mitch Mitchell, the group performed hits such as "Freedom", "Foxy Lady",and "All Along the Watchtower"
